A Drug War interview you should read

First, read it: Reason: Tripped Up: Joel Miller's Bad Trip kills the government's anti-drug buzz. A Reason interview

The drug war has sent a lot of creative minds thinking. I couldn't have even imagined some of the ingenious ways people have invented to smuggle drugs. It's absolutely insane. (Earlier, I noted an article on highly fit drug runners.)

Miller starts to explain the federal government's role in the black market and how the Drug War has encouraged corruption on down to the police officer. He goes into the connection between drugs and terrorism. And he argues that ending the drug war will end all of these terrible things. Finally, he explains why we probably won't be seeing a substantial change in prohibitionist policy any time soon.

I plan to read his book (not only the interview) and post a review.
